President Sisi went in his speech during the opening session of the Arab Summit at its eighth regular session, which will be held at the Dead Sea of ​​the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, our sincere thanks and appreciation to the owner of King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for the warm reception and generous hospitality Almahudyn, and "what we saw of effort and adults keen to provide all means for the success of this important summit, to achieve for the benefit of our Arab nation."



President Abdullah II affirmed Egypt's support and full support during his presidency of the Arab summit, adding: "I am confident that his experience and wisdom will contribute positively to strengthening relations between the various Arab countries."



The President extended his thanks and gratitude to President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of Mauritania for his efforts and the efforts of his brotherly country during the presidency of the previous session of the Arab Summit.



The President pointed out that over the past years, the new challenges that have afflicted our Arab homeland have focused on the spread of terrorism and its increasing danger, weakening the national state structure, challenging its basic idea as a homeland for its people and melting the different cultures, sects and sects in one loyalty to one homeland. stability when weakened national institutions, and we have seen the spread of intimidation to secure when sectarian conflicts have replaced the common coexistence, and increased foreign interference in the affairs of states and the destinies of their people, and quickly took advantage of the vicious terrorism the opportunity to fill the vacuum caused by the lack of Ma's ability SAT states to play their essential role in the maintenance of security and law enforcement.



He added: "Terrorism has increased and threatened the lives of millions of people in our Arab homeland and in the world. It has become a global phenomenon that can not be tolerated or accepted by any justification. The relationship between terrorism and the threat of national statehood becomes interactive. The weakness of the state and the weakening of the state to extend the influence of terrorism, and therefore we must work on two parallel tracks at the same time, we fight terrorism and we deal with it decisively and forcefully, while doing our utmost to resolve the existing crises in the region and restore security and stability, empowering and strengthening the institutions of the National ululation, to carry out its tasks assigned to it. He added: "It is no secret to you that confronting terrorism is not easy, as it is a malignant disease that permeates the fabric of countries and societies and is hidden with cowardice and weakness. Therefore, its confrontation must be comprehensive, starting with military resolve and continuing to include improving the economic, In order to counter radical ideology on the religious, ideological and cultural levels through the development of education and the strengthening of the role of our longstanding religious institutions, especially Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to refute extremist ideas emanating from terrorist organizations through an integrated intellectual and cultural system. And the promotion of the principles of citizenship, tolerance and co-existence, to become well-established social actions and practices, leave no room for the forces of darkness to grow and spread. "



President Sisi pointed out that it was regrettable to see some of the forces take advantage of the unprecedented circumstances in our region, to strengthen its influence and exert control, arose under the names and justifications different, interfering in the affairs of Arab countries, whether through political interference, or military and security, is not concerned in order to achieve this to disintegrate these states institutions, or to threaten the territorial integrity and the safety of their people.



"I say to you frankly and honestly that we must all take a clear and decisive position on these interventions, pointing out unequivocally that we will not allow any force to interfere in our affairs, and that all attempts to seek sectarian or ideological domination, Within the territories of the Arab countries, will face a united and firm Arab stance, determined to protect the national institutions of the state, capable of safeguarding the capabilities of the Arab peoples and fulfilling their rights to decent living and development.
